Welcome all to the Geraldton Harriers Club 2017 season for what promises to be another great year for the Club.

The Club aims to provide the opportunity for each of you to achieve whatever goal you may have set for the year and substantial work has been undertaken over the off season ensure sufficient variety of events to cater for participants of all ability levels.

Whilst the extensive redevelopment of the Beresford Foreshore shall ultimately deliver a substantially improved backdrop along which some of the Club’s traditional events are held; access restrictions over coming months shall prevent the Club utilising this popular area during the 2017 season.  Despite this, the course committee has worked hard to ensure a strong balance between city and regional courses is maintained in 2017; with a new course to be run from the Point Moore Lighthouse to correspond with the Lighthouse Open Day and a scenic course along the Drummonds Cove coastline.

The 2017 Geraldton Harriers RunFest & Marathon shall once again be a Club event open to the public, with no entry fees for Club members.  The entire Club Management Committee is engaged in coordinating what should be a fantastic event to be held on the weekend of 1st and 2nd of July. Save the date and keep an eye on the Club website, Running Writing and Facebook for updates in the period leading up to the event.

All the best for the 2017 season.
