We are Geraldton Harriers Incorporated. A running and walking club located in Geraldton, Western Australia.
Geraldton Harriers also operate geraldtonharriers.com.au re-direct to the Site and geraldtonrunfest.com for the Geraldton Runfest annual event and also operate social media pages which are linked to and linked from the Site.
It is Geraldton Harriers policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites in accordance with Australian regulations.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In completing seasonal membership you will be giving consent as set out in the registration waiver/declaration. We refer to this information as “Member Information”.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use your Personal Information that we collect generally for replying to correspondence, coordination and follow up on required actions to queries and requests , develop our club and understand the needs and well being of our members and broader community.
Membership Information is accessed by Geraldton Harriers committee officers for accounting purposes; coordinating event organisers; building membership and contact lists.
Additionally, we use this Personal Information to:
Communicate with you;
Provide you with information relating to our club events;
Help us with event planning and event coordination;
Insurance coverage needs;
Assist in administration of clubs activities, awards and constitutional requirements;
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Accounts cookies for registered used for log in to the site contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Uploaded media to this site for use in posts and articles includes photos of events, event participants and organisers. Media also includes PDFs and event result tables which include names and category of participation.
If you submit a contact form from our website, you name and email addresses together with your inquiry is re-directed to our hosted email server for response by our club secretary and other club committee officers.

We use our Google Mail services for subscription to and delivery of our newsletters and email. Personal information includes name and email address.
We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site and maintain selected backup of our website and off-line data on our Google Drive.
